In 1978 this dutch yearbook was introduced. It describes the developments of the railways in Europe.
Nowadays each of the 31 countries is described, whereby the infrastructure and the rolling stock is described extensively. The developments on the European Railwayscene is with the increase of railwayoperators even more split, that is why this book became larger and more voluminously. Since 2002 it is printed in a larger scale(15 x 21 cm) and totally in full-colour.
